The dead bee mystery

Today I will discuss the dead bee mystery. It appears to me that every day along the walk paths there is a new dead bee laying on the floor (as pictured on the left). Lets say that I'm starting the new day at work and I walk from the main office entrance to the kitchen area for coffee, on my way to the kitchen as I walk through the hallway corridors I scan the ground and find a dead bee. When I first noticed the dead bees I thought nothing of it, perhaps it is the same bee mummified in the open air (I would think to myself).
However one day I decided to pick the dead bee up and throw it away. The next day when walking through the path again, I spot another dead bee. So, I pick this bee and throw it away. Well this has been going on daily and I figure that the bees are coming here and they die. I spoke to one of my coworkers here and she said that not only does she see the same dead bees, but also that a coworker from her department squashes live ones when she spots them on the ground. So now we have two points. One point is that we may have a large bee population. The second point is that they are coming here to die. The question is why? I've done research on bee websites and found that bees have a lifespan of 1-4 months where as the queen bee can live from 2-5 years. Well lets say that one bee dies every one month, if we have 30 dead bees everyday, then we must have a healthy population of bees somewhere around here at my work. I can only guess that they live around this area are coming here to die. But the question is why here? I can only speculate and say that maybe our buildings were created on top of an ancient bee burial ground. However if that were true, wouldn't the bees spirits haunt this place? As of yet I have not heard of any employees mention ghostly apparitions of bees.
However, I can only wonder if it'll be a matter of time before I walk around and hear a buzzing near my ear but not see a thing. What would be even worse is the sting of a ghost bee. Lets suppose that someone here were allergic to bee stings and gets stung by a ghost bee. Would they die? Would they feel the sting? Or maybe their spirit would be stung, and if that were the case wouldn't we need ghost pincers to remove the ghost stinger? The more we think about it, the more mysterious the dead bees seem to be. I will continue to note peculiarities and keep everyone posted on this topic if any new information comes to light as for now, I wish everyone to have a good weekend.

I see dead bees many places too. Have you heard of
colony collapse disorder? I wonder are these bees that have abandoned their hive, flown far and wide, then die. Or is there some toxic pesticide in the area? It is very scary what is happening with the bees of the world and the impact it will have on pollination of crops. I don't know if your situation is connected but it makes you wonder.
